Dr. Antoinette Welsh is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York specializing in neuropsychology who works with individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, memory loss, brain tumors, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, ADHD, and other conditions affecting cognitive functioning. After graduating from Lafayette College with Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, Dr. Welsh went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University. She completed a concentration in neuropsychology, focusing her studies and clinical experience in both adult and pediatric neuropsychological assessment, including training at the New York University Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Hackensack University Medical Center, and Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. Dr. Welsh’s dissertation research analyzed the effects of trauma induced stress on various neuropsychological functions. Dr. Welsh completed her postdoctoral fellowship in adult neuropsychology through Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of acquired and developmental conditions. She has extensive experience in outpatient centers, as well as inpatient hospital settings.
